Verbal bullying is abuse of power. It’s a favorite tactic of Bad Bible Bullies. Verbal bullying is dramatically different from the persuasive tactics of a visionary leader.
A dramatic example of the difference between the words of a visionary leader and the words of a bully is the YouTube video posted after John Boehner’s (Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives) angry rant in March 2010 against passing health insurance reform legislation. The video juxtaposes Barack Obama’s signature campaign motto for the Presidency of the United States in 2008, “Yes we can,” with Boehner’s angry declaration, “No you can’t.” Read more…
